Maritasa Tsimplaki grew up in Athens. She has a diploma for the preservation of hagiography and photography works from “Petra” schools. She is an excellent graduate of the School of Fine Arts, University of Florina (painting, sculpture, engraving, jewelry, scenography, hagiography, fresh, mosaic, caustic).
She has participated in many group exhibitions.
