CHRISTOS ANTONAROPOULOS

He was born in 1958 and comes from Filiatra in Messinia. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1980-1985), with D. Mytaras and D. D. Kokkinidi and set design with B. Vassiliadis. He often draws his themes from mythology and the dream world.

His compositions involve animal and human forms, which are rendered in an expressionistic mood. His works are distinguished by their simplicity of colour, the stable structure of the composition and the symbolic implications of the themes.

He is a member of the Hellenic Chamber of Fine Arts with a series of group and solo exhibitions on his CV.
